How to Infuse your own Tinctures and Liqueurs
The art of infusing alcohol with herbs, spices, flowers and fruits has long been valued for both fun and for good health. And aren’t they very much the same thing?
In this class Anne Shea (award winning maker of wines, beers, liqueurs and more at @smallbatchbooze) will guide you through making infusions from scratch. You’ll come away with all the recipes and knowledge needed to transform fruit and herbs from your garden into world class liqueurs.
In our class we will look at herbs from the Orto garden and use them to create medicinal and pleasurable infusions. We will make a traditional Polish Christmas drink, a spiced honey liqueur called Krupnik: and we’ll put together coffee and lemon liqueurs in good time to give or share them this holiday season.
Tastings: Limoncello, Limoncello Cream, Fig Leaf Gin and a liqueur made in class.
Everyone will take home a small bottle of liqueur made in class, as well as recipes and all the knowledge to make more in time for Christmas.
Join us in this very beautiful, very tasty, very dreamy class. Chin chin! and buona salute!
