Home made pasta you are silky delicious, easy to make and a joy to eat!
And children really love to make pasta too!
When my children were young we hosted pasta making birthday parties and while at first my daughters hesitated saying “mum I don’t think our friends will like it”, doubt was soon replaced by fervent pasta inhalation.
Our pasta making day will look like this:
Welcome & introduction to ORTO and to my country of birth – Le Marche in Italy
Tour of ORTO, Wetland, Orchards, Kitchen Gardens, Berry Orchard, Pigs
Pasta making class, with edible flowers
Grazing platter, hot & cold drinks
A performance of Italian Folk Songs
Sit down lunch, with beautifully decorated table, a meat or vegetarian ragu or both, plus four vegetarian side dishes, & our favourite! Tiramisu!
Post lunch Pizzica Dance: an Italian peasant dance that is very simple and enjoyed by all, facilitated by your host
Vegan and gluten free options also available.
