Fungi Femme – a wild fungi hunting walk

Join fungi femme Tanya and Mara for a very low key fungi fun femme walk to learn basic fungi identification skills.

I will begin the session with some fungi basics to help you leap into fungi identification wonderland.

Now this write up is starting to sound like I am taking you on some magic psychedelic fungi walk, but the fact is that this walk is all about being outside, being in a forest, walking, observing, and learning to see the very tiniest of worlds beneath our feet.

I thrive on learning and on the company of others and I love sharing what humble skills I have gleaned.

Men are very welcome… I just liked using the words femme and fungi together.

Bring a camera or your phone to take snaps.

Bring snacks, really comfortable shoes and a rain jacket.

I will teach you a short song to the tune of “Hungry eyes” to help create the required conditions for good mushroom finding.

Please be on time so that we can set off on our walk in a timely manner and ….should the weather be very bad or should a lockdown occur then we will postpone the date.
